Human Resources Assistant - Adjunct Faculty Recruitment
Job Description
The Human Resources Assistant serves as the main point of contact for the divisions and data management team for processing of on-boarding paperwork for adjuncts.
Duties and Tasks:
- Incumbent will review all necessary paperwork for accuracy and launch on-boarding.
- Advise and guide division administrators on process and status of adjunct process.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Human Resources practices, policies, and regulations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with co-workers and colleagues across the College, as well as with the general public.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to perform duties with consistent accuracy and attention to detail; commitment to owning assignments through to completion; consistently meets deadlines.
- Knowledge of PeopleAdmin applicant tracking system; basic understanding of the recruitment process.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to participate in a team setting that encourages both individual and team accomplishments; ability to establish goals; and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an HR office setting.
- Work experience using computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
- Previous experience working in a higher education setting, particularly with faculty.
- Previous experience with ImageNow.
