ABOUT VOORHEES UNIVERSITY
Voorhees University is a private, diverse, historically black, coeducational, liberal arts, baccalaureate degree-granting institution affiliated with the Episcopal Church. Located in rural Denmark, South Carolina, the University serves traditional and nontraditional students primarily from South Carolina and the southeastern region of the United States. Academic Excellence at Voorhees University’s Division of Academic Affairs will be achieved and maintained through efficient management of the division, continual assessment and realignment of the curriculum, development of the faculty, and maximized curricular and co-curricular student engagement, locally, nationally, and internationally.

Salary: $40,000 – $45,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Managing and leading the operations of the Institute, including operating policies, practices and procedures.
- Ensuring the Institute practices advance the purposes of the SC Charter School Law.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Standard Office Environment
EDUCATION
- Advanced degree in education, public administration, public policy, law or management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of the SC Charter Schools Act.
- Management and leadership experience with a charter school authorizing entity or other public school.
- Strong belief in the principles and value of the charter school movement.
