Part Time Teacher in the Children Center at Odessa College.
Specific Position Duties
-Assisting full time teachers in classrooms with infants up to small children.
Minimum Qualifications
1. The office clerk must meet the staff requirements of the Texas Department of Protective & Regulatory Service Standards for Day-Care Centers;
2. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or its equivalent;
3. Must have competency in office skills including typing, spelling, and the use of grammar;
4. Must have filing skills and ability to organize, maintain, and retrieve from a large system;
5. Must be proficient in Windows;
6. Must possess maturity and sensitivity, with the ability to relate well to both children and adults;
7. Must have the ability to understand and follow the philosophy of the Odessa College Children’s Center;
8. Must supply supportive references and work experience; and
9. Must be able to pass the WorkSTEPS assessment.
