The Human Resources Generalist will oversee the daily Human Resources (HR) functions along with providing a broad range of support services to ensure employees, processes, programs, and policies are aligned and optimized to achieve organizational objectives. The HR Generalist will coordinate recruitment, employee management and retention, compensation and benefits, and company policies and practices. The HR Generalist will be expected to have expertise in human resource management and apply sound business practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes all processes for recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, including new hire tasks, benefits, and 401-K administration.
- Assists the Executive Leadership Team with developing, updating, and managing policies and procedures.
- Works closely with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and other claims.
- Coordinates benefits administration, claims resolution, and annual open enrollment.
- Administers organization wide annual review process, job description updates, and compensation analysis.
- Serves as the point of contact for employees regarding HR administrative or policy matters.
- Creates and maintains all required employee files.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for all HR information systems related to recruiting, training, and employee/payroll/benefits management.
- Communicates routinely with executives and managers for the purpose of identifying staff professional development opportunities, coaching recommendations, and organizational culture awareness.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must be results-driven with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and will also
have/be:
- Prior experience in an HR generalist role.
- A thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Highly motivated self-starter who works well with a team and independently.
- Mature judgement, with a calm, even demeanor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 DOE
